right, im currently re reading the series and am most of the way through book 9 and having thought about these things (and for some of them, looked them up):

Tuon can learn to channel (she think about her testing positive as a sul'dam and how she trains some of her damane herself).

i now think that Graendal killed Asmodean. there are thousands of posts for this knocking about the net, but i came to this decision too. the killer would have to be able to recognise and be recognised by Asmodean (implying forsaken), kill quickly (channeler). RJ has said its "obvious" who it is - so it cant be anyone we meet later (eg Moridin). as it stands, all the other forsaken were busy (rahvin was dying, Moghedien was trapped with an adam etc) - leaving only Sammael and Graendal as culprits. as it seems Asmodean was killed with the One Power, Rand would have felt Sammael channel and Sammael says in book 6 he doesnt know what happened to Asmodean (from his POV so not lying). Graendal is the only one that seems to Asmo is dead.

Semirage is Tuon's truth speaker Anath - loads of reasons for this, and it seems obvious as im re-reading it. She looks very similar to descriptions of Semirage. Demandred said it was very hard for her to make the meetings (channeling around seanchan bad idea) and in a Tuon POV, its said that Anath appeared suddenly 2 yrs before (when the forsaken were let out) and was given loads of authority, even becoming Tuon's truthspeaker. looks like compulsion.

Min's viewing about Aviendha's babies ("4 at once, but something odd about them") - whats this oddness? could it be they wont be able to channel, which would be odd considering both parents can. who knows.

also- why doesnt aviendha have a second name. the aiel all call people by their full names, but Aviendha has never been given a name, even in appendixes etc.

also a brief thought occured to me - elaynes babies are a boy and a girl - could they be the twins (hero of the horns) that herald the end of the age?

i once stated to someone (might've been you neil which is why i'm mentioning it) that i thought Olver was Gaidal cain reborn - he's not. apparently he's a minor character that has got out of hand, RJ didnt intend him to be around so long.

rant over. i realise these arn't theories as such, just my thoughts, but hey, dont care. please disagree as you see fit, i like a good WOT argument.
